Portal 2 coming to PS3
Valve Software yesterday announced that Portal 2 will be coming to Sony’s PlayStation 3.
Gabe Newell rather sheepishly took centre stage at Sony’s E3 keynote yesterday to announce the news.
“I’ve been pretty outspoken in my comments about next gen consoles, so I’d like to thank Sony for their gracious hospitality and not repeatedly punching me in the face.”
Newell confirmed that Portal 2 would be released on PS3 in 2011, which is the same time PC and Xbox 360 versions are also expected to land. The PS3 version would also include some Steam features like cloud saving.
I bet we all didn’t expect to hear something like that coming out of Valve!
