Fault Line Episode 1: Bad Part of Town

The first gameplay trailer is out for Battlefield 3 and it look as though the guys over at DICE are going for a grittier more realistic looking game this time around. The comedy group have gone and they’ve been replaced with larger squads and a more current day setting in the Middle East.

As always the sound is excellent with realistic sounding squad chatter, gunfire and explosions. The Frostbite 2 engine is looking great and the soldier animation in the set pieces is solid and believable.

The current big hitters Modern Warfare and EA’s own Medal of Honour series now have something to worry about.
