Try the following to fix the error and update your phone by putting it in DFU mode.

	1.	Connect your iDevice to your PC or Mac via USB cable and launch iTunes.
	2.	Hold down the Home+Power button for 10 seconds.
	3.	After 10 seconds, release the Power button but keep holding the Home button until iTunes detect your iPhone in recovery mode.
	4.	Once your iDevice is in DFU mode, you should see nothing on its screen. It should be completely blank.]]></description>

Usually when your phone is backed up, it will backup all data and &#039;should&#039; restore the images once you restore from the backup. I just wanted to know if I follow the steps that you have mentioned will cause to loose all my pictures? It doesnt say anywhere if the restore will erase all of your pictures.
